The South Belton Cemetery is within the city limits of Belton, Bell County, Texas. It is bounded on four sides by city streets. The numbers by each burial indicates a grave number on a plat of the cemetery. The original plat is filed in the office of the Genealogical Records Chairman, Agnes Woodson Chapter DAR, PO Box 702, Belton, TX 76513 (1968 information). This cemetery is of special interest because of the 32 Confederate veterans buried here.
