Rest Haven Cemetery is located in Matilda Connell Survey, 3 miles south of Belton, 1/4 miles west of IH35 at the Shanklin Road exit. Just south of the Bell County Expo building. Due to construction and impounding of water to create Lake Belton, and construction of Fort Hood, the remains of those buried in the following cemeteries were reinterred at Rest Haven: LIBERTY HILL, TENNESSEE VALLEY, DENMAN-WALTON, SELLERS, AIKEN, DOSS, HAWKINS and YIELDING.
