Moffat Cemetery Association will be hosting a ceremony to dedicate the cemetery's new historical marker from the Texas Historic Commission on Saturday, November 27 2004, at 2pm. Moffat Cemetery is located about 5 miles west of the Temple airport and about 1/2 mile East of Lake Belton on the North side of State Highway 36 which goes from Temple to Gatesville. Prominent Temple attorney Jim D. Bowmer will be the speaker.
